Meet The Doctors

Dr. Stuart Kelly


Family Life: Dr. Kelly is a lifelong resident of Grant County. He started his practice in 1984. He has two grown children. Cassie is a Purdue graduate and is in her residency at Chicago's Rush Hospital, where she will be specializing as an OB/GYN. Collin is an Indiana University graduate from the School of Business. He started his career at Charles Schwab and married in October 2018.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kelly enjoys bike riding, pickle ball, tennis, and golf. He likes spending time in the great outdoors hunting birds, and also enjoys home renovating. He participated in the Little 500 for 3 years and was on the winning team in 1978. As a result of the win, he participated in the making of the film, Breaking Away.

Education and Continuing Education: Dr. Kelly graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1975, Indiana University in 1979, and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983.

In the Practice: 

Why did you choose dentistry? "I was inspired after having experienced orthodontic treatment by Dr. William Z. Roper, and I really enjoy working with children."

Dr. Chad Leighty

Outside the Practice:

Family Life: Dr. Leighty has been a part of the community since he was 6 years old. He and his wife, Sandy, have been married since 1999 and have 3 beautiful daughters: Lauren, Krista, and Emily. He is also blessed to have a granddaughter, Leighton, and son-in-law, Julian. He is also blessed to have their granddaughters, Leighton, Olivia, and Ellianna. When Dr. Leighty is not busy making beautiful smiles, he enjoys just being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his family at their lake cottage on Syracuse Lake.

Education and Continuing Education: He graduated from Marion High School in 1985, Indiana University at Bloomington in 1989, and Indiana University's Dental School in Indianapolis in 1993.

In the Practice: 

Why did you choose dentistry? "I love improving someone's oral health and self-confidence while creating a beautiful smile."

What are your goals for yourself and PDC? "My goal for PDC is to provide exceptional dental care and service to our patients. My personal goal is to make a positive impact on our community and legacy that my children are proud of."

Dr. John Krumanaker

Dentist

Outside the Practice:

Family Life: Dr. John recently relocated to Marion from Huntington to join our practice. He enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and basically anything outdoors. He really loves working with his hands and does anything from working on cars, to woodworking, to metal works.

Education and Continuing Education: Dr. John graduated from Bishop Luers High School and the University of St. Francis, both in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He most recently graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.  

In the Practice: 

Why did you choose dentistry? "I chose dentistry because of the enjoyment of working with my hands and the joy that can be seen from helping others."

​What are your goals for yourself and PDC? "My goals are to strive to be the best dentist I can be for my patients and to provide a practice atmosphere where people feel like family."
